After breakfast, set off on a coach excursion to North Island Port Louis City. Explore the capital's highlights, including the Citadel and its surrounding area. Witness the historic Champ de Mars racecourse, one of the oldest in the world. Visit Le Caudan/Port Louis Waterfront, a must-stop shopping destination with around 170 shops. After breakfast, begin a full-day coach excursion to South Island: Drive to Curepipe and visit the ship-making factory. Enjoy shopping at the duty-free shops in Floreal. Take in the scenic views of Curepipe and its surroundings from the extinct crater of Trou aux Cerfs. In the afternoon, drive through the nature park of Black River & Plaine Champagne to Chamarel village. Stop at Grand Bassin (Ganga Talao), a sacred lake, and view the stunning 108 feet statue of “Mangal Mahadev”. Visit Chamarel, known for the unusual 7 colored earth created by volcanic rocks, forming beautiful patterns of color in the hillsides. Witness the striking Chamarel waterfalls.
